This book is about Dr. Eli Javier’s life and ministry – his childhood, his conversion, and his ministerial training and experiences in different areas of ministry: children, youth, church planting, pastoring, and mass media. Moreover, he served as Bible school administrator, mentor, and denominational head.
Eli’s philosophy of ministry and leadership is expressed so vividly in his writings included in this book. Proof of his effective leadership is given by the numerous expressions of appreciation from people he mentored and whose lives he touched.
All in all, this book portrays what one man’s fervent obedience to God’s call in his life could accomplish.
About the Author
Esther C. Javier finished two bachelor degrees, majoring in Elementary Education and Music Education. She taught at the Division of City Schools, Manila for 23 years and was a division-level Music Demonstration Teacher. She also taught Church Music at Bethel Bible College and in three other Bible schools in Metro Manila. She earned her Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling at the Philippine Normal University. She is married to the late Dr. Eli Javier and was involved in ministry together with him for 47 years. They have one son, John Wesley, and one grandson, John Matthew. Esther is currently a part time music teacher at Lord’s Jewels Christian School in Taytay and a spiritual adviser at Light of the World Christian Center in Makati.
